Assessment of food handling practices of street food vendors of Delhi NCR

Abstract
Street food industry assumes a significant job in taking care of a great many individuals at truly reasonable costs offering ascend to a significant worry of food safety and ill-advised food dealing with rehearses. Along these lines, food dealing with practices of street vendors was analysed. An aggregate of 100 street vendors from region of Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram and Noida were screened utilizing a bilingual close finished Questionnaire. Results got from the study demonstrated that 57% merchants knew about the general idea of food hygiene, though just 25% were wearing gloves while dealing with the food items, 17% of vendors used to peruse food labels and significant worry of 66% vendors while purchasing items was cost. The outcomes inferred that the street vendors knew about the idea of food hygiene yet need practice because of inaccessibility of resources and infrastructure.
